Welcome to Design Vision
Your local Optometrist & Optician in Wauwatosa, WI

Our focus is on you!

COVID19 UPDATE 3/01/21

We are OPEN for eye exams, contact lens exams & trying on eyeglasses.

We ARE practicing according to CDC guidelines for health care practices.

We will keep you SAFE with social distancing, sneeze guards, constant sanitization and following our strict procedures.  Our Optometrists and team members have been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine (or are in the process).

Every pair of eye glasses has been cleaned and sanitized so you can try on frames without worry.  After you try on frames we will clean and sanitize each one.

We have implemented the OPTOS Optomap and recommend this non-invasive scan of the back of your eye (200 degree view of your retina).  With insurance this is a $39.00 copay (also $39.00 for our private pay patients).  The doctor may or may not recommend dilating your eyes.  For some patients who choose the OPTOS scan our Optometrist may not have to dilate your eyes at your appointment.  Our Optometrist does have the final authority for dilating your eyes.  The most comprehensive eye exam available includes the OPTOS and dilation.

We accept many vision insurances (Davis, EyeMed, NVA, Superior and more).

If you do not have vision insurance we offer a "time of service" courtesy discount on our vision services and prescription eyewear.

WE ACCEPT VSP (Vision Service Plan) INSURANCE

but...YOU WILL NOT FIND US ON THE PRACTICE LOCATOR.

Please note we can verify your vision care benefits and bill VSP.

City of Milwaukee employees now have vision insurance with VSP.

Thank you for wearing your mask, "social distancing" and for sanitizing.   We look forward to "seeing" you and your family for your vision care needs.  Thank you for your trust and your business!

Our Approach to Optometry

Our one-on-one approach to optometry makes Design Vision and the staff the eye and vision care providers of choice in the Milwaukee area.
